Angela Lee - Cancer Survivor - B.A. / C.P.T. Ambassador Volunteer for the American Cancer Society

Angela Lee was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in 1984 and went from having cancer, to being “cured”, in 1989. Thanks to medical advancements and the birth of social media, her medical protocol and the sense of privacy that existed 30 years ago, no longer is the norm for today. Although it took Angela several years to become comfortable sharing her experience, she now believes it’s her mission to work with other survivors, educate others on preventative lifestyles, and be an advocate for cancer priorities at a state and national level. Having spent almost 20 years in the High-Tech industry working for various Fortune 1000 and Fortune 500 companies, she now is a certified personal trainer and volunteers in multiple ways with the American Cancer Society. Angela received a Bachelor of Arts degree from James Madison University and resides in central Texas with her husband of 13 years.
